Dr Sarah Bates Evoy is an experienced Social Care Worker, Adult Guidance Counsellor and Adult Tutor.  She is currently working as a higher education lecturer in the Department of Education, in the South East Technological University, Waterford, Ireland.  Her research interests include: professional identity formation, inclusive teaching and learning practices, communities of practice and the application of Margaret Archer’s concepts and morphogenetic model.
