My name is Jenny Perkins (she/her). I am a PhD student in the school of nursing at the University of Washington. Currently, I am working on my dissertation and a disability studies graduate certificate. My area of research focus is insulin use discourse. In preparation for the dissertation, I conducted a discourse literature review on insulin access, particularly access that promoted insulin rationing. I am interested in learning to fully incorporate critical realism in my program of research
