Located in Szczecin—a dynamic city in north-western Poland on the Oder River—our university benefits from a strong cultural and scientific community. Szczecin is a prime cross-border hub between Poland and Germany, featuring ample green spaces that create a pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere.

In addition, our University Library provides comprehensive e-resources to support learning and research.
Among our unique features is the Interfaculty Department of Critical Realism—the first of its kind in Central Europe—operating under the auspices of the International Association of Critical Realism. This department explores groundbreaking scientific trends in the social sciences, hosting seminars, workshops, and conferences, and publishing the Polish Journal of Critical Realism.
Our study programmes cater to a wide range of academic interests:
