Based at the University of Hamburg, I am an environmental sociologist and green criminologist specialising in ecological justice, environmental peacebuilding, and crimes against nature. My research focuses on ecocide law within rethinking peace and security beyond traditional political liberalism. Guided by critical realism, I explore the underlying structures and power dynamics shaping environmental harm and legal responses.
